A case has been registered for not following the guidelines set out for Covid-19 in Pakistan

In Pakistan, a case has been registered against more than three thousand activists of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) for not following the guidelines set out for Covid-19. These include three sons of former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani. These cases have been registered by the police in Punjab province for organizing an anti-government rally and violating Covid-19’s public safety guidelines.

The coalition of 11 opposition parties has been named the Pakistan Democratic Movement. The PDM organized a rally from Ghantaghar Chowk in Muldan on Monday evening. A few days ago, there was a dispute between the city administration and opposition activists about organizing the event at a time when the government has asked not to allow crowded programs in view of the growing cases of Corona in the country.


On Tuesday night, police registered a case against opposition activists. Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister Firdaus Aashiq Awan said that an FIR has been lodged against the organizers for violating several rules in PDM rally in Multan. PDM also violated court order with rules, we cannot allow opposition to play with people’s lives.
