A small plane crashed on Monday in North Texas, USA, shortly after takeoff. One person died in this accident. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that the ‘Wheeler Express City’ plane crashed about 1.61 km west of the airport after taking off from the Grand ‘Prairie Municipal Airport’. This airport is located west of Dallas.
Robert Fite, head of the Grand Prairie’s fire brigade, told eyewitnesses that the plane fell sharply and crashed into a telephone pole and was hit by a truck on the road.
He said that the person in the truck suffered minor injuries. Currently, it is being ascertained whether the aircraft landed in an emergency or there was an error. Initial investigation has revealed that two people were on board the plane.
