Bangalore Police has raided the house of actor Vivek Oberoi. At two in the afternoon, two inspectors of the Bangalore police reached the house of Vivek Oberoi and started the raid. Regarding the raid, a police officer said that ‘Aditya Alva is absconding. We have received information that Alva is hiding in his (Vivek Oberoi) house. This is a raid to find Aditya. A warrant has been obtained from the court in the case and the Crime Branch team reached Mumbai from Bangalore.
The Bangalore Police has also conducted searches at Aditya Alva’s house. Significantly, Aditya Alva is the son of former Karnataka minister Jeevaraj Alva. He is accused of allegedly supplying drugs to actors in the Kannada film industry. In this case, the Crime Branch team has arrested some drug peddlers including Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi.
