Joe Biden is sworn in as America’s 46th president. Kamla Harris of Indian origin has become Vice President with him. As expected, Biden has overturned many of Donald Trump’s decisions after assuming power. After being sworn in as president, Biden went straight into the Oval Office and went into action.
Biden has signed 15 executive orders. All of these had been in demand in America for a long time and they also promised this during the election campaign. On Wednesday afternoon, Biden said there was ‘no time to waste’ in issuing executive orders, memoranda and instructions.
Biden said, “Some of the executive orders I’m going to sign today are going to help change the course of the Corona epidemic crisis, we’re going to combat climate change in a new way that we haven’t yet And end racial discrimination. These are all starting points. ‘
Biden’s press secretary Jane Saki said the decisions taken on the first day are just the beginning. The President will take many more decisions in the coming days. He said, “In the coming days and weeks, we will announce additional executive orders that will meet the challenges and fulfill the promises made to the American people during the presidential election.”
