China will soon start applying vaccines to those working in the health care

China will soon start applying vaccines to those working in the health care, transportation and border control areas to protect against the corona virus. National Health Commission Deputy Minister Jeng Yixin said that the government is giving priority to those in immunization who are more at risk of getting infected. These include people working in meat and seafood markets, the elderly and people who are already suffering from other diseases.

China has said that it has largely prevented the virus from spreading and only three new cases of infection have been reported on Saturday. Covid-19 vaccines developed by Chinese companies are yet to be approved in Turkey, Indonesia and Brazil. Producers are testing these vaccines in more than a dozen countries, including Russia, Egypt, Mexico.

The results of the Phase III trial of vaccines from Chinese companies have not yet been disclosed. More than a million people have already been vaccinated even before getting the final market permission for the vaccine here. China allowed emergency use of two types of vaccines in July.
