China's mission to Mars, Tianwen-1 has reached about 100 million kilometers

China’s mission to Mars, Tianwen-1, has reached about 100 million kilometers from this Earth. The space agency CNSA said that it is doing normal work. The special thing is that China’s previous Mars mission was a failure. On the other hand, India is the first country that successfully executed a mission to Mars in the first attempt.

Apart from India, so far only the US, Russia and EU have been able to send successful missions to Mars. India is still the first country in Asia to achieve this feat. Mangalyaan of India has circled Mars in 2014. China had earlier sent the Yinguo-1 to Mars in 2011, but the mission was unsuccessful.

This time its focus is on Tianwen-1, which has spent 144 days in space till Monday and has traveled 36 crore kilometers. To reach Mars, it still has to cover a distance of 12 million kilometers. The process of approaching it to Mars will begin in mid-February next year, and this orbit will revolve around the planet. After this, it will land on Mars and then travel through the rover. It involves the study of soil, land structure, environment.
