Facebook has said that it will take action against the group representing the ‘right-wing’ American conspiracy theory ‘Qinone’, popular among supporters of US President Donald Trump.
This theory is based on the baseless belief that Trump is conducting covert operations against child trafficking gangs run by government officials and celebrities.
Facebook said on Tuesday, the pages, groups and Instagram accounts representing QNone will be removed. Even if they do not incite violence. This theory was earlier confined to a dark corner of the Internet, but is now slowly entering the mainstream political corridor.
However, many social media platforms including Facebook have started implementing policies against QNone. However, experts say that it is too late now and it is not going to make any difference.
