Ukraine Bus Hostage

In Ukraine an armed person took about 20 people hostage inside the bus on Tuesday. Police has given information about this. The incident occurred in the city of Lusk, 400 km from the capital Kiev of Ukraine. Police have surrounded the area.

Police have said that the accused is armed and has a large amount of explosives. Because of this, the entire area has been evacuated, so that any untoward incident can be avoided.
Police officers are trying to contact the person. He has identified the person and looking at his social media pages shows that he is deeply disappointed by the functioning of Ukraine.

Ukrainian media say gunshots have been heard from the scene. However, no injuries have been reported yet. Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zalensky, said the attacker took control of the bus at 9:25 am (0725 GMT) local time.

Zalensky said in a Facebook statement that the sound of gunfire was heard, the bus was badly damaged. The President has said that efforts are being made to control the situation.
