India has raised a strong objection to the Pakistan High Commission over efforts to declare Bhai Taru Singh Ji’s ‘martyrdom’ gurdwara in Lahore.
Pakistan, as a mosque and convert it into a mosque. The Indian Foreign Ministry said that Pakistan has allegedly claimed that the mosque is a part of Shaheed Ganj and efforts were made to convert it into a mosque in connection with the Gurdwara, a martyr’s place located in Naulakha Bazar, Lahore.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said in this regard that Gurdwara Shaheedi place is a historical gurdwara where Bhai Taru ji sacrificed in the year 1745. This place is considered sacred by the Sikh community. This incident in Pakistan is being seen with serious concern in India.
Justice is being raised for the minority Sikh community in Pakistan. Srivastava said that India demands an immediate inquiry from Pakistan in this matter.
