Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Albert Borla, CEO of Corona’s vaccine-making Pfizer company, 17 times within a few days. This is so that they can get more dose of vaccine as soon as possible. The Israeli opposition leader gave this information on condition of anonymity.

He points out that Netanyahu paid a higher price for the vaccine to strengthen his declining popularity and political position. Pfizer’s vaccine for which Britain gave 30 euros (about Rs 2,700) per dose, while Israel gave 45 euros (about four thousand rupees) for it.

Israel has therefore paid double the price of the vaccine. A Pfizer spokesperson said that the price and quantity of the vaccine is based on a pre-determined promise.
