Israel’s Ambassador to India, Ron Malka, said he had enough reason to believe that it was a terrorist attack but he was not surprised about the attack as vigilance had been raised for the past few weeks.

He said in an interview that all aspects are being examined keeping in mind, including the possibility of a connection with the 2012 attack on our diplomats here and the developments happening around the world.

When asked if the purpose of the attack was to derail Israel’s peace efforts with various Arab countries, he said that the attack was a plot to demolish in the region (West Asia), which cannot intimidate or deter us.
