Japan has announced the imposition of a state of emergency in Tokyo and the surrounding three areas due to the corona virus epidemic. It is noteworthy that new cases of infections continue to increase in Japan and a record 2,447 new cases a day have been reported in the capital Tokyo.

Prime Minister Yoshihida Suga released a manifesto in the government’s workforce for the corona virus. The emergency will come into effect from Friday and will continue till February 7. Under this, the restaurant and bar have been asked to close at eight o’clock at night.

People have been told to stay in their homes and not go in the crowd. There is no mention of imposing any penalty in the manifesto. Corona virus cases are increasing in Japan after the New Year celebrations and New Year holidays.
