President Joe Biden has signed several orders to end the racism spread in the country and to treat everyone as equal. These orders are part of his promises that he made to the public during his election. These include the elimination of racism in the country.
Please tell that these orders of Biden are only part of the 15 orders which were given soon after he took office. Biden, in his order, has asked all federal agencies to end apartheid. He also said that all policies that strengthen racism in the country should be reviewed again.
He has also rescinded Trump’s two orders related to the 2020 census that former President Donald Trump gave during his tenure. Biden also ordered a resolution of ethics to federal employees. In his speech after his swearing-in, he said that everyone’s voice would be heard in the new administration.
Blinken will become foreign minister advocating relations with India
The US Senate approved the proposal to appoint Antoine Blinken, a longtime ally of President Joe Biden, as the next foreign minister. Blinken (58) had the support of 78 senators, awaiting confirmation by the Senate. He is expected to take charge soon.
22 senators voted against him. During the hearing in this regard, Blinken advocated strong ties with India and said that India-US relations have bipartisan support. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Blinken’s selection was the right move globally.
A Texas man was involved in the January 6 attack on the US-based Capitol. The Federal Investigation Agency (FBI) reported that it had registered a case against 30-year-old Nicholas de Carlo. The accused wrote a message on the shirt he was wearing during the riots, which meant killing the media.
