Amid growing cases of corona infection, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday issued new guidelines for surveillance, control and caution. Accordingly, it will be mandatory for states / union territories to take stringent measures to prevent infection, issue SOPs on various activities and control congestion.

According to the guidelines, only necessary activities will be allowed in the containment zone. Local district, police and municipal officials will be responsible for ensuring that the prescribed measures are strictly followed. The State / UT Governments will ensure the accountability of the officials concerned.

Actually, the new guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs will be effective from 1 December to 31 December. The main focus of the ministry is to strengthen the control over corona infection. Due to the recent increase in cases in some states / UTs, it is emphasized that caution is needed.

Explain that the number of corona infections in the country is increasing continuously. After the decline in daily affairs on Tuesday, it has increased once again today. In the last 24 hours, 44,376 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported. At the same time, 37,975 cases were reported on Tuesday. The number of patients infected with the virus has crossed 92 lakhs in the country.

According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 44,376 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the last 24 hours. During this period, the number of people who lost their lives due to the virus was 481. So far, a total of 92,22,217 people have been infected with corona in the country.

According to the ministry data, the number of patients who have been de-infected in the country has crossed 86 lakh. In the last 24 hours, 37,816 patients have defeated the virus and returned home after treatment from the hospital. In this way, the total number of patients who have become infection free has increased to 86,42,771.

According to statistics, the number of active cases has remained below five lakh. The number of active cases in the country at present is 4,44,746. At the same time, the number of patients who lost their lives due to Covid-19 has increased to 1,34,699.
