Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday interacted with three teams working on the Corona vaccine through video conferencing. He discussed the development of the vaccine with Genova Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. Pune, Biological e Limited Hyderabad and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited of Hyderabad.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has given information about the Prime Minister’s discussion with these teams. The PMO said, ‘The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts being made by these companies to come up with vaccine solutions to deal with Covid-19. The capacity of various platforms for vaccine development was also discussed.
The office further stated, ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the companies to give their suggestions and views regarding regulatory procedures and related matters. He also suggested that they should make extra efforts to inform the common people about the vaccine in simple language.
On Saturday, the Prime Minister visited three vaccine centers – Zydus Cadila, Bharat Biotech, Serum Institute of India. Under this, the Prime Minister visited Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Pune. He visited these cities to review the process of development and manufacture of corona virus vaccines.
