Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Quatra on Sunday announced himself to be self-quarantined. Confirming this, Indian officials said that the Indian ambassador has taken this step after Nepal’s Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai was found infected with the corona virus. Bhattarai’s Kovid test was conducted on Saturday, which has been reported positive.

Indian Embassy spokesman Abhishek Dubey said, “Ambassador Quatra has quarantined himself as he too met Bhattarai recently.” Dubey said, however, the ambassador’s health is well and no signs of infection have appeared in him yet.
