The number of corona infections in the world crossed 3.75 crore on Sunday, while the number of dead increased to 10.78 lakh. 2.81 crore people have been cured of the epidemic.

There are now more than 82.87 lakh active cases in the world, of which 68,774 are in critical condition. Meanwhile, in Brazil, the third largest country affected by the infection, the death toll has crossed 1.50 lakh.


According to the report, in Brazil on Saturday, the death toll stood at 1,50,198, with 559 people dead. It is the second country after the US, where the infection has killed such a large number of people. The country has reported 26,749 cases of infection in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the second wave of infection continues in Britain, Russia, Spain and France. Britain may announce new sanctions on Monday.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Quatra on Sunday announced himself to be self-quarantined. Confirming this, Indian officials said that the Indian ambassador has taken this step after Nepal’s Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai was found infected with the corona virus. Bhattarai’s Kovid test was conducted on Saturday, which has been reported positive.

Indian Embassy spokesman Abhishek Dubey said, “Ambassador Quatra has quarantined himself as he too met Bhattarai recently.” Dubey said, however, the ambassador’s health is well and no signs of infection have appeared in him yet.
