In order to defeat Corona, Pakistan has also taken a major decision. According to the information, Pakistan has approved emergency use of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. Dr Faisal Sultan, Special Health Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan, confirmed this on Saturday.

He said that the Pakistan Drug Regulatory Authority has approved for the emergency use of the Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine across the country and expects the vaccine to be available by the first quarter of the year.

As per the report, Asad Umar, who is also the head of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) of the country’s coronovirus control body, said the vaccination campaign would be started by March. Omar said that in the first phase, vaccine will be given to health workers and people 65 years and above.
