Pakistani Army has increased its activities in Pakistan occupied Kashmir

The army has increased its activities in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Amjad Ayub Mirza, a PoK social worker living in Britain, claimed that the Pakistani Army deployed cannons in civilian areas of the Neelum Valley. It is from here that the Pakistani army shells in India’s border Jammu and Kashmir.

Amjad alleged that the Pakistani army forces the youth of PoK to become terrorists against India. Harassment, kidnapping and murder of those who disobey the army have become common. Women are also tortured. Protests against this led to demonstrations in PoK in recent days, which were brutally attempted to be crushed.

Those who oppress the people have the support of both the power and the military. Instead of addressing the problems of the youth, the Imran government of Pakistan is exerting full power to fulfill political objectives. The deployment of heavy weapons such as cannon in the civilian areas of the Neelum Valley is also part of its strategy.
