Pakistan’s security agencies arrested three Taliban militants involved in the Rawalpindi blast on Monday. In fact, 25 people were injured, including women and children, in a grenade attack in Ganj Mandi area of Rawalpindi on Sunday.

The Anti-Terrorism Department of the Punjab Police of Pakistan said that the Rawalpindi team had received information that the three terrorists were hiding near the Swan River. On the basis of information, the Anti-Terrorism Department raided and arrested the three. Explosives, detonators, mobile phones and other items have also been recovered from the terrorists. Interrogation of the militants revealed that they carried out four bomb blasts in Rawalpindi in January, March, June and December in 2020, killing four people and injuring more than 30 people.
