Indian industry veteran Ratan Tata will be honored for promoting innovations that support stability and peace in the region, including Palestine. Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of the Tata Group, has been honored with the ‘Global Vision of Sustainable Business and Peace’ award by the Indo-Israel Chambers of Commerce for this work.
Ratan Tata will be given the honor at the launch of the International Chapter of the Federation of Indo-Israel Chambers of Commerce on 21 December in Dubai. Senior officials from India, Israel and UAE will also participate in this virtual event.
“Tata has done a lot for India-Israel relations,” said Raviv Byron, president of the Indo-Israel Chamber of Commerce. He is fully entitled to this honor. Let us tell you that 82-year-old industrialist and philanthropist Ratan Tata has been awarded the Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan, two of India’s highest civilian honors.
