The cold outbreak in North India does not seem to be getting any relief in the coming days. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in the country may again deteriorate due to western disturbances. Snowfall may occur in the hilly states and light rain in the plains. Fog havoc will also be seen.

The Indian Meteorological Department said, due to western disturbance, heavy rain / snowfall is expected in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on 27-28 December. Scattered rain / snowfall is expected in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In addition, light rain / thunderstorm may occur in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh.

According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog is expected to prevail in some areas of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan and western Madhya Pradesh from December 29-31. In the next 24 hours, the cold is going to increase in Punjab.
