The number of corona infections in the world crossed 3.96 crore on Saturday, while the number of dead also exceeded 11.10 lakh. 2.96 crore people who have been affected by the epidemic have also recovered. There are 88.51 lakh active cases in the world, out of which around 72 thousand people are in critical condition.

On 16 October 4,13,121 new cases were reported in the world, while 6,189 people died. On the other hand, new cases in Russia claiming to make the Corona vaccine are breaking records daily. On Friday, 15,150 new cases were reported in the country, the highest in a day. The number was 13,754 on Thursday, while on Wednesday it was 14,231. More than 200 people are being died every day in Russia for the past one week.

At the same time, there has been no major change in the corona virus in India. This was confirmed by the Prime Minister’s Office on Saturday. In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday conducted a review of the situation of the corona epidemic in the country and the preparation of the vaccine. This meeting with PM Narendra Modi included Union Health Minister, Member (Health) Niti Aayog and officials of other departments of the Government of India.

During this time, PM Modi said that we do not have to confine the vaccine only to the neighboring countries, but it has to be spread all over the world. He said that in order to further strengthen the vaccine delivery system, we need to emphasize on IT platforms across the world. In the meeting, the Prime Minister suggested to develop such a system of vaccine delivery as an election event in which there is participation of every level of government and citizen groups.

Presiding over the meeting, PM Modi referred to daily cases and a steady decline in the growth rate. PM Modi appealed to follow social distance, Corona guidelines and self-restraint during festivals. The PM further directed that the vaccine’s reach should be increased rapidly in view of all corners of the country and the conditions there. The PM stressed that every step in logistics, delivery and administration should be strictly implemented.

After this meeting, the Prime Minister’s Office informed that three vaccines in India are in advanced stages of development, of which two vaccines stage-2 and one vaccine in the third stage. The PMO further stated that two all-India studies on the corona virus genome showed that the virus is genetically stable, with no major changes.
