The White House has said that US President Joe Biden will address the G-7 online meeting on Friday. They may also reiterate the need for global cooperation and the American commitment to multilateral relations to combat the Corona virus during this period.
The White House pointed out that Biden would speak on the need for industrialized nations to ensure that the betterment of their economy benefits all workers, including women and members of disadvantaged groups.
The White House said Biden would also use this opportunity to discuss the need to update global regulations to address the economic challenges presented by China. As President of the United States, Biden will address the G-7 meeting for the first time. The G-7 group consists of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States.
